How movement works

Movement is a little different in On the Rivet, but after a couple of turns you catch on pretty quickly. You’ll activate one rider, but depending on the movement you select, you might end up moving a whole line of riders, including your opponents.

This is where the semi-cooperative element comes into effect. You’ll probably find yourself bargaining with other players in order to get them to push your team into a favorable position.

Learn about each of the 4 different movement types below.

With a Lead action, the active rider pulls everyone behind them.

In a Chase action, the active rider shepherds the riders ahead (almost like a push), and leaves the other riders behind.

A draft movement works like a Lead and Chase, pulling riders behind and shepherding riders ahead.

A break movement only moves one rider.
